Mapping Pressure Distribution back to orignal geometry -- A question about approach?

I'm looking at using OF to generate a pressure distribution (external flow stuff), which is then used for structural simulations. I'm looking for advice on the best way to accomplish this.
This doesn't sound like a new problem. Is there a utility or simple way to map a pressure vector from the surface back to the original mesh?
I'm also open to using post-processing in paraview to extract a surface distribution. My only criteria is that the process needs to be automated with scripts.
Is anyone doing this? Any pointers on where to start? Any advice on approaches that work or don't work?

I've been working in external aerodynamics also (UAVs design and sizing) and what I usually do is to save the pressure distribution in the wall from paraview as .csv and use that data (after some treatment) as input for a linear interpolation in the structural pre-processor.
I don't know which structural software you are planning to use, but Hypermesh and ABAQUS have that option.
