which program is suitable for showing different graphs into one to compare?

Hi
1)which software do you suggest for drawing multiple graphs together into one diagram for comparing results?
2)which software is there for drawing graphs other than gnuplot( a graphical software)

Hi

two alternatives are Octave and python (matplotlib). Both of them are very powerful and they resemble Matlab.

thanks Pablo.
I downloaded Gnu octave and qt octave(does it work based on Gnu octave?)
I couldn't find a good help for octave.do you know?
matplotlib doesn't have a graphical environment like QT Octave?
thank you.

Hi

You have another option, Matlab, although it is not open source and free.

I have never used Octave, I only know that it exists, and that apparently it is very similar to Matlab. I have searched a bit and found a tutorial which seems quite comprehensive to start:

Regarding matplotlib, this one I have worked with it, and it is also similar to Matlab, only lacking the work environment. However, you can use it along with any python IDE so that you can even track the values of variables at any time. I use it with spyder, for example.

In both cases you will have to script to obtain your graphs, so if you don't know python I would recommend you to start with Octave.

Best

Pablo
