is it due to output of rhoCentralFoam and I have to modify it or can do another thing with pyFoam to plot?
Code:
pyFoamPlotRunner.py --hardcopy --with-courant --no-pickled-file --procnr=4 rhoPimpleFoam |

Usually in the *.analzed directory you find a file with all the data necessary to reproduce the plots. --no-pickled-file obviously doesn't write this.

help of the pyfoam?
I have been using that for rhoPimpleFoam without any problem.it plots residuals for rhoCentralFoam but not continuity residuals. where can i find some explanations about its other options? i couldn't find any in pyfoam contrib. |

I think I mention it in every presentation/webpage about pyFoam that for every utility if you add the option --help that you get a complete list of the options plus description
PyFoam looks for a line like "Time = ...". If it finds that then it should print residuals. If no info about continuity is printed then no continuity will be plotted

CPU is the time used by the CPU. Clock is the time in the real world. They may differ if the process doesn't get the whole CPU. Clock-time is only printed with a resolution of 1s. Thus the "vertical" lines. Look at the output of the solver

why after plotting residuals by pyFoamPlotWatcher.py from log file it waits and when use ctrl+c the figure becomes disappeared.how can save the residual figure after run?(I think this would be a good way to have residuals altogether after ending of run)
and this command doesn't work: Code:
probeDisplay.py Code:
ehsan@Ehsan-com:~/Desktop/shock_tube_and_backwards/shock_tube_3.5Mpa$ probeDisplay.py probeDisplay.py: command not found

Closing windows after Ctrl-C is a design decision: closing 10 windows "by hand" as well would be annoying. And BTW: you can override this behaviour with --persist probeDisplay.py? Don't know that command
