tecplot error
 

Hi foamers
I use foamToTecplot360 and everything is ok in linux
but when I export the case to windows and open it in tecplot360 from data loader this error happens

the FEA loader encounter an internal error from reading the file wich may affect loading.

Function: vdm_OpenFOAMLibOpen
Error: SYS_ERROR_FORMAT improperor incomplete file format
Message: Invalid faces file

Attempting to continue...

what should I do now? :(

There is something that isn't very clear to me from your description. Do you mean that:

1. When you use foamToTecplot360 to export to Tecplot 360 format, you can open the resulting files on Tecplot.
2. When you copy the whole case to Windows, without using foamToTecplot360, then try to open the case on Tecplot 360 with the FEA reader and choose to open the controlDict file, it's not able to open the case?

If this is the situation, then another question: does the complete path to your case on Windows have any spaces or special characters?

the problem was solved.I used your hints for foamToTecplot360.it is just my fault in choosing appropriate loader of tecplot.
BTW,I solve the problem ;)
