Runtime Postprocessing showing patches

Dear Openfoam users,

I am trying to automatize the postprocessing of an OF case (and in the process also implement runtime postprocessing) and I was looking at this webpage: http://www.openfoam.org/features/run...processing.php. It shows this nice picture which I was trying to reproduce. The streamlines and cuttingplane utility works like a charm but I was wondering how one could also show the geometry?

So I want OF to output the raw coordinate points (or .vtk) of the geometry coloured by pressure (so just like the cutting plane, only then for my geometry surface), how can I do that? I thought maybe by using the sampledPatch utility, but I cannot find a tutorial or example of that utility anywhere.

Thanks a lot!
