Hi there,

Since I'm no expert with OF, I was dubious of what answer I was getting out of the wallShearStress utility. So to double check, I have taken multiple sample lines (velocity profiles) from the walls and used a clauser plot to calculate the wall shear stress and frictional velocity. As i expected, I am getting different answers (please see attached plot). question is: why is there a difference? and which one would you trust more?

Kind regards,

Kit
