Hello all !

In order to put a turbulent inflow in my case (double tee junction), i would like to export velocity data from a pre-compute case (simple pipe) and put it for the inlet BC.

To export U, i use sample with a sampleDict. First of all, it writes 2 times more cells (5400 instead of 2700), and same values 2 by 2, like if the cell was split (paraFOAM shows the 2700 cells split in two).

5400
(
(0.00282895 0.00289232 0.0437824)
(0.00282895 0.00289232 0.0437824)
(0.00251195 0.00263565 0.043842)
(0.00251195 0.00263565 0.043842)
(0.00216303 0.00248173 0.0438021)
(0.00216303 0.00248173 0.0438021) ...

If i try to put these values in the inlet BC (taking only half of the values), with :
Type fixedValue;
value nonuniform;

OpenFOAM takes the values but not in the right order. I think OpenFOAM writes data in a sprecific order but read them in an other. I join screenshots of what i want to get and what i actually have.

Any advices, solutions ?
Thanks.

Unless i missed something, it seems that OpenFOAM reads in a way but writes in an other way, depending how the block is defined. In y case it writes in row but reads in column.

So i meshed my simple pipe in a way and my real case in an other and it worked, but it's not a really satisfying method.
