n4a0505 is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I have finished a simulation of a case, and I have the result data in result files. Now I want to simulate the same case with very small time step from the result conditions.

is it possible? Could anyone help me?

Hi,

If you plan to use the same solver, you can run simulation in the same folder, just set startTime to latestTime in controlDict.

Or you can create new case folder and use mapFields utility to map old simulation results to new one.
