I am new to OpenFoam. I had meshed an airfoil(NACA0012) in ICEM-CFD and imported it in OpenFoam. I am using RAS model and all boundary conditions from the airfoil 2D tutorial. I wanted to calculate the forces (for drag) on the airfoil. So, I generated the forces.dat file. But it is showing pressure force, viscous force = 0 at all times. The same procedure works fine for the 2D airfoil tutorial case. Is the problem related to the fact that my airfoil is 3D? Can someone please help me out.
