about streamline function

Default about streamline function

Hi there, just a quick question about how these streamlines were drawn.

Take pitzDaily case under simpleFoam for example. I extracted these streamline points in the post possessing folder, and plot them (see attachment), however, they dont make much sense to me.

anyone has an explanation to it?
