The foamLog script will generate xy-files based on the log file generated by the run.

You can also monitor convergence "real time" using the pyFoam package.

Hello.

I have the same question, however, when I run FoamLog, the outputs files I get are only for the first time-step of my solution, so they only have 1 x-y entry in each of them. I checked the log file and it has many more timesteps..?

What do you mean exactly with "at a special time step".

Using the foamLog utility you can plot them in function of the simulated time but I don't know if this is what you want to do...

I'd personally recommend pyFoamPlotRunner.py/pyFoamPlotWatcher.py from PyFoam, but there is a whole thread that discusses different options:
