Tutorial cavity mapFields
Hello,
I started OpenFOAM tutorial but I'm stuck almost at the beginning. I run the first case "cavity" and I should continue with "CavityFine" with another Mesh definition. In order to keep the calculation already done I should proceed in mapFields but I cannot find where I should write it. Should I create a new file within the system folder or write it in controlDict? Thx for your help. |
Where you should write what?

mapFields ../cavity -consistent

It's a command. You need to run it from the shell.

I installed OpenFOAM 1.5 on windows, there are all the commmands on the right side of the OpenFOAM designer window, including mapFields, but if I right click on it and I click start then it says taht the argument is missing ...

I tried to customize the command mapFields (giving the application name the path and the option -consistent) but it does not work, is anyone familiar with this windows version please?
