Hi Folks
I've been working on a project using OpenFOAM and I've since moved from using Linux to Windows to run some comparative tests. I've found that when I used snappyHexMesh in windows (i'm using OpenFOAM-2.1.x for Win64) I get the following error. Your current settings specify ASCII writing with 6 digits precision. Your merging tolerance (1e-006) is finer than this. Change to binary writeFormat, or increase the writePrecision or adjust the merge tolerance (mergeTol). I don't get the same error in Linux, and thus far I've been unable to resolve it (changing the write format in any the snappyHexMeshDict does nothing, neither does chaning writePrecision in etc/controlDict and I haven't found a means to adjust merge tolerance). I understand OpenFOAM isn't designed for windows and to expect problems, but this seems like something small that should be easy to resolve. |
