dimensionedScalar

Hello,

I'm very new to OpenFOAM and I'm trying to learn this software and modify it for my application. I just bumped to dimensionedScalar which is like this:
nu nu[0 2 -1 0 0 0 0] 1;
There are three things that I can't understand:

1- What's nu mean?
2- If the values in [..] refer to field property and physics why like for length somewhre power 2 is chosen but other places power 1?
3- What does the last scalar after [...] referred as scalar mean?

Thank you so much.

hello dear Abbas welcome to forum
first i recommend to read userguide , because your questions are so naive, and shows you dont yet look at userguide at all, however
1-nu is mu/rho , it is viscosity
2-????? i dont understand your question but those values in [] are dimensions of your variable for example for velocity (m/s = ms-1) so it would be [0 1 -1 0 0 0 0 .....]
3-its the value you assign to your variable actually nu=1 in your example

Hello Nima,

Thank you so much for information. You are right, I need to look deeper into Tutorial...
