Mesh export to OpenFOAM issue

2 Attachment(s)
Hi All

When I convert my fluent.msh file to OpenFOAM using fluent3DMeshtoFoam, files are generated succesfully in polyMesh withut any errors but my geometry in paraFoam completely changes. File 1 shows two pipes connected by a 90degree mitre drawn half in symmetry in Ansys and file 2 shows geometry in openFoam which is only a rectangle. Can anyone advise.

Many thanks

Regards

Hi,

I think you just activated "outline" in Paraview. Swith that button to "surface"

then you will see your real geometry that should look as it does in ANSYS.

Thanks Chrisi. Problem solved. This is what happens when you are a beginner.
