starccm to foam data conversion error
 

Hi,
I am facing some issues while converting data from starccm to openfoam format.I went through the openfoam wiki page and tried the steps given there but still getting the same error. Is there a solution for this, I need a answer on a urgent basis.

Ok, sorry for the previous query, I get an error which reads as follows :

* After obtaining the libccmio-2.6.1 library, place in folder

+ [ -e /home/rahul/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-2.1.1/platforms/linuxGccDPOpt/lib/libccmio.so ]

I use OpenFOAM 2.1.1

Instead of Star-ccm, why don't you try from Star-cd to openfoam?

I will advice you to save your case in star-cd format and then go for the conversion to openfoam.

As per my knowledge, mesh conversion from star-cd to openfoam is available.
