Hello everyone,
I am trying to find out how the nutUSpaldingWallFunction ist implemented. Can anybody explain what is done in the correction term df please? scalar f = - ut*y[faceI]/nuw[faceI] + magUp[faceI]/ut + 1/E_*(fkUu - 1.0/6.0*kUu*sqr(kUu)); scalar df = y[faceI]/nuw[faceI] + magUp[faceI]/sqr(ut) + 1/E_*kUu*fkUu/ut; scalar uTauNew = ut + f/df; Thanks |

I just found this thread by accident. It is actually the iterative procedure to calculate the friction velocity using Newton - Raphson method:
