floating point exception

Hi Dear Foamers,

I am working on waveFoam and recently tried a lot to convert 2d test case into 3d via Gmesh, but I have got the error 'floating point exception' so many times. Sometings happen duiring running the command waveFoam and sometimes even duiring setWaveField. Any body can tell me why? I did change mesh grid size so many times.
How can I check and correct my mesh in Gmesh?

Hope hearing from you soon!

Hao

I've never used OpenFOAM, but FLUENT throws Floating Point Exceptions in cases of extreme solution divergence. Check the boundary conditions of your 3D output from Gmesh to ensure they are correct. It could be that they aren't, and so waveFOAM and setWaveField are expecting 3D but instead are operating on 2D.
