Dear All,

i want to use mapFields with multi Region target. i use openfoam2.1.0, which offers this option (-TargetRegion) for one region only.

can anyone help me?

I had the same problem and I solved using the option

-sourceRegion region_n -targetRegion region_n

as many times as my region were.

mapFields -targetRegion heater -targetRegion solid -tergetRegion air

No, I meant:

-sourceRegion heater -targetRegion heater

and

 -sourceRegion solid -targetRegion solid

and

 -sourceRegion air -targetRegion air

Is that clear, now?

i tried it but it didn't work with me. beside, i have one region in my source and multiregions in my target.

If you have one single region in the source and you want a multiregion in the target, I suggest you to create cellZones in the source, as well. Then you can map them, I think!

Dear Ahmed, have you been able to solve this problem?

I want to map source case with one region into target case with multiple regions and I have problem doing that. Did you find any solution !?
