Hi all,
I am not understanding what is the difference between "tolerance" and "residual control" in the SIMPLE solver. Could you help me to understand? Thank you very much for the help, Best regards, Marcelo Lopes |

I have the exact same question, and I'm curious if anyone has a good answer. The OpenFOAM user guide does not even mention residualControls; however, there are some users who say here that this is the convergence criteria.
I'm quite confused. I will report back with either personal experience or a more conclusive answer. Cheers, C |
