Greetings All

I am running a vortex simulation in simple rectangular geometry, though the mesh elements are in large number.

I have used funkysetfields command to initiate a vortex and then when I wish to use parallel simulation using decomposePar, I got this error message

Time = 0
fileName::stripInvalid() called for invalid fileName U~
For debug level (= 2) > 1 this is considered fatal
Aborted

This was when the start time in my controlDict file was 0.

But strangely when I changed the start time to 1 or 10, anything other than 0, decomposePar works without the error.

Could anybody please explain.

Thanks in Advance...

Did you even read the error message? U~ is (apparently), an invalid filename. I bet that you have a file 0~ in the ./0 folder, but not in ./1 or ./10.
