Greetings jvd.mechanic,
Apparently your case folder is named "My Case Copy" and unfortunately OpenFOAM is allergic to spaces in folder/file names. If you rename the folder to "My_Case_Copy" or "MyCaseCopy", it should work just fine. edit: for a more detailed answer, check the section Why do I get the error message "fileName::stripInvalid() called for invalid"? in the FAQ: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/FA..._invalid.22.3F Best regards, Bruno Last edited by wyldckat; April 13, 2014 at 03:50. Oh, I read your first post waaaaaay too fast . Let's see...
Quote:
The "line 0" message is because the reader stopped at line 0 - it was ready to start reading, and then tried to open the file - but then it didn't find the file in question. Specifically, the file "system/controlDict" does not exist inside the folder "/home/jvd/Desktop/MyCaseCopy/". One of the reasons could have been because the folder was named "My Case Copy", but that should have given an error as the one explained in the FAQ. |
