Hello,
I am new to OpenFOAM and I hope to get some help here. I have two fluid regions (front and back part of a pipe). I do not want to combine the two regions. Instead I want to define the Interfaces between the regions so that the values are passed from the first to the second fluid region. That is where I need help. I declared the interfaces in the constant folder as type mappedPatch where I also specified the samplePatch and region respectively. In 0/fluid1/U 0/fluid2/U I defined the interfaces as type mappedVelocityFlux T and p_rgh are of type mapped. But after all the method does not work. Does anyone have some experience with this problem. Is this the right way to do it? As a result the interfaces still have the initial values whereas the flow is not passed over. |
