Dear All,
My solid structures are input from a stl file and it has only one patch name, but I would like to separate this single patch or define new patches on, such as a cylinder shape column, the top and bottom faces. I would like to do this because I need different boundary conditions for each surface. Regards, Yage |

the easiest way is to use salome to decompose faces and then regroup them as different boundary patch name
you can download salome from here
