How to define "empty" boundary type when using Gambit for modeling?

Hello all,

i'm going to model a 2D channel using the gambit. by which boundary type, i can specify the "empty"?
these are the available options in gambit;

-wall
-axis
-exhaust_fan
-fan
-inlet_vent
-intake_fan
-interface
-interior
-internal
-mass_flow_inlet
-outflow
-outlet_vent
-periodic
-porous_jump
-pressure_far_field
-pressure_inlet
-pressure_outlet
-radiator
-recirculation_inlet
-recirculation_outlet
-symmetry
-velocity_inlet

Thanks

anyone who can help me?!

How should I define the third dimension as an "empty" boundary type in Gambit?

Just import the gambit mesh into OpenFOAM and then open constant/polyMesh/boundary with a text editor and change the type of the patch of interest to empty.
