Hi all,

I am trying to move surfaces of a mesh with success but i have a problem at the moment:

  • Want to move a cylinder surface into its centre line is not successful at them moment... as far as I understand there is no correct BC for this problem?
  • In my simple case (see attached pictures) I am moving surfaces (left, right) of a channel into its centre line. That is working (pic2) and the results are as assumed.
  • Doing the same thing now with two more surfaces (left, right, front and back) then I have the problem, that I got crazy deformation at the corners (see pic3). This is also assumed and I know why that happen. Still I dont know how to solve it.
  • I tryed splitting the mesh in more faces that I can make other settings in the motion file but its not working.
  • Does anybody know how to deal with that?
  • At least I want to know if its possible to deform the surface with an profile (like parabolic etc.)?

Thanks in advance,
