Hi all,
I have been using timelines in groovyBC for awhile now and results has been really good for my applications. I am currently planning to take it a step further and vary the boundary conditions in one of the spatial axis (i.e. y-axis). I am not very sure how I should accomplish this. Is it through lookup tables? Since now I will be inputting data that is going to vary with time and the y-axis, am I supposed to put all the data (a 2D array) into lookuptables? Or should/can timelines and lookuptables be used together? TIA |

Sorry I'm not very clear on the second point. Does timeVaryingMappedFixedValue only work if we can separate the function into g(x)*h(y) is that correct? |

As far as I remember timeVaryingMappedFixedValue interpolates in time between sets of spatial data. It can not be combined with grovvy/swak

Bumping this thread up because I was wondering if anyone has done any additional development work to implement multidimensional lookup tables in swak4foam (groovyBC).
Or alternatively, does anyone know where in the swak source the lookuptable stuff located? I've not been able to find it thus far. Thanks! -Clint |
