Hello,
I have created mesh of a complex device in ICEMCFD and set there name of all patches. Now I'd like to split wall face into wall boundary face and outlet-pipe-wall boundary face, but I cannot do that in ICEMCFD because my license expired. Is there a possibility to do that such an operation without necessity to create new mesh? I know exact coordinate from which I should cut my wall patch into two patches. Below is presented sketch of my domain. http://www.imageupload.co.uk/image/5XCB |

I am interested in this as well. I'm doing blocking with ICEM and it does not allow me to split an internal wall into 2 patches during the blocking process.
As such, I need to split it in openFoam. I think the way to do this is to use Toposet and create the faces from patchToFace. But there should be an easier way to do this in openFoam. |
