are kqrWallFunction,omegaWallFunction and nutkWallFunction adaptive?

Hi friends,:)
I am currently working on simulating the surface piercing propeller (SPP). because of extremely fine edges that a SPP has, a very fine mesh needed on the surface and edges of the SPP. because of that, the values of y+ near the SPP is under 20 generally. my question is:
at this condition, can I use kqrWallFunction, omegaWallFunction and nutkWallFunction as boundary conditions for k,w and nut for SPP wall? you shoud consider that I am using the kOmegaSST turbulent model. may be I can express my question in other form:
do mentioned wall functions, with implementing the KOmegaSST model, have adaptive features in variety range of y+ values? or they have not a good preformance for small y+ values especially under 20 or 30?

in addition, my last question is:
do mentioned wall functions, using the analytical formulas, predict the flow properties (such as k+,nut+,w+) starting at the first cell center near the wall toward upper cell centers (farther cells from the wall) or they predict them starting at the first cell center near the wall toward the wall?

Thanks, Dears
Hossein
