Hi everyone,

I've some issues in order to run properly the depthCharge test case in 3D. In 2D no problems, everything goes well and I succeeded in doing the computation in parralel. Now, I try to work out the 3D case but the setFields tool seems to not work properly. Indeed, instead of writing value in "0" folder files I've got a list of : nulnulnul...

Has someone already got that specific problem ? I've only copy paste the test case folder from the installation folder and remove defaultFaces boundaries in some files of the "0" folder because it is a 3D case.

Tell me if you need anything about the computation set up ?

I should add that I'm using the windows version OF 1606+ and I've already performed most of the tutorial explained over there:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjd...xH9BqheyE82Vvw with success

Regards,

Thomas

No solution? I have the same problem..

%SOLVED%
So 3 minutes after asking this question, i found out that my text reader couldn't read binary files, but needed ascii.
If someone else out there is facing the same problem, go into controlDict and change "binary" to "ascii" and you should be good to go. The NULNULNUL in my case was changed to the values i've specified through SetFields.
