This means that your simulation is diverging. If you look at the output just before OF crashes, you see:
time step continuity errors : sum local = 5.82606e+86, global = 1.27825e+70, cumulative = 1.27825e+70 And having read that you are using deltaT=0.1, honestly it's no wonder things blow up right into your face! Try something like 0.0001, which, depending on your case might still be too large. Unfortunately you don't show enough output to see a CFL number, but make sure that number does not grow too fast (i.e. grow from 0.5 to 10 in three time steps, or some such) and remains moderately low.

First, I am 'relatively' new with OpenFOAM, but I have I think we simply need more information to help you. Since it is simpleFoam (steadyState problem), I think time step should not be the problem. In fact, many people including myself use delta T=1 instead. Did you checkMesh? change relaxation factor? numerical schemes? .... regards, iL

I can tell that your number of iterations of p is no good. First, you can lower the relaxation factors under the file system/fvSolution. Especially p. The default number is 0.3. But, try to lower it to 0.2 or lower. It usually helps. Second, you can refine your mesh, and it helps me sometimes and check if the number of iterations of p can be lower. Run 'checkMesh' (post your result here). Thrid, you can change your delta T to 1. Is your mesh highly nonOrthgonal? Also, you may change your pRefValue is your problem open or close? If it is open, you can change your pRefValue 101325. I hope it helps. Regards, iL

I know you can use paraFoam or some other program to view these problem cells and try to fix them. I personally didn't use this method, but you can find more details by searchng this forum. Or, you can simply find them by looking your mesh in paraFoam if they are obvious. I don't use StarCD, so I can't recommend on it. Regards, iL
