Hi,
at first, thanks for the OF 1.5. Good job! Back to my problem. I want simulation a tank (3D case) with water. At the begin of my simulation the tank is full of air (Gamme=0). On the top is an inlet patch (Gamma=1), surround of it an atmosphere patch. My question is: I have to use "SetField" for the inlet patch and how I can use it? I use the solver interFoam. I thought to write down at the start time 0 in the "gamma" file that inlet has the value Gamma 1 is enough. Is this correct? Thanks for the help. Bye Thomas |

i have a problem with multiphase flow solver as well. could you please share for us, how you work with setField or funkySetField on your inlet on interFoam ? Thanks |
Hi,
I am a new with OF as well. For multiphase flow and especially for Tian's problem, I think this tutorial will be very helpful: - OpenFOAM tutorial: free surface tutorial using interFOAM and rasinterFoam www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kurser/OS_CFD_2007/HassanHemida/Hassan_Hemida_VOF.pdf Regards, Anh Duong |
