Hi all,
Have anyone known how to use engineSwirl. I try to use it with the solver "engineFoam", but the engineSwirl require quite differents engine geometry data file. I try to edit the file, but it fail because I don't know exactly definition.

Help me plese,

You need to add these to 'engineGeometry'.

swirlAxis ( 0 0 1 );

swirlCenter ( 0 0 0 );

swirlRPMRatio swirlRPMRatio [0 0 0 0 0 0 0] 1.0;

swirlProfile swirlProfile [0 0 0 0 0 0 0] 3.11;

they should be pretty self-explanatory, except for swirlProfile, and if you have a look at the file in the engineSwirl-dir you can read all about it.

I am a beginner of OF ,and I executed engineSwirl and run on FoamX.
But,the result had no difference between default and swirl.
I am not sure what to do.
Please help me...

Hi Everyone,

If i incorporate swirl in the engineGeometry file. What should i specify in the initial boundary condtion uniform (0,0,0)???
