Hi,

I built an axi-symmetric mesh by following the example in page U-159 figure 6.8: hex (0 1 2 3 4 5 5 4)

So, for the boundary conditions, I have (0 1 5 4) and (3 4 5 2) as wedge, (1 2 5 5) as top face, (0 4 4 3) as bottom surface, and (1 0 3 2) as wall. After running blockMesh, it created an extra boundary condion default as "empty". I believe this is (4 5 5 4) which is the axis (and zero surface area). Is this correct? Is it OK to ignore this empty boundary condition?

Thanks!

Pei
