hello all user,
I am trying to set the pressure BC at inlet, i have given pressureInletOutVelocity.
but its giving error
Starting time loop

Time = 1

DILUPBiCG: Solving for Ux, Initial residual = 1, Final residual = 0.0231447, No Iterations 2
DILUPBiCG: Solving for Uy, Initial residual = 1, Final residual = 0.0236254, No Iterations 2
DILUPBiCG: Solving for Uz, Initial residual = 1, Final residual = 0.0239755, No Iterations 2

gradientInternalCoeffs cannot be called for a genericFvPatchField (actual type pressureInletoutletVelocity)
on patch inlet of field p in file "/home_local/projects/CT-110_BSH/SimpleCFD_version1/0/p"
You are probably trying to solve for a field with a generic boundary condition.

From function genericFvPatchField<Type>::gradientInternalCoeffs( ) const
in file fields/fvPatchFields/basic/generic/genericFvPatchField.C at line 692.

FOAM exiting

I tried pressuerInletVelocity
also its giving the same error

i have attached my 0/p also please have look and help me do fix the problem.

with regards,
sivakumar

You are probably trying to solve for a field with a generic boundary condition.
As the error message indicates, you are trying to use an unknown BC type (thus it uses generic as a fallback). Not only is it undefined, but if you think about it, specifying a vector boundary condition (in this case velocity) for a scalar field (in this case pressure) is probably not what you want anyhow.

Hi, everyone !
I have a problem about inlet condition
I set inlet pressure as " Total pressure model with relative pressure = 101325 Pa "
And in CFX - post, I chose Total pressure to indicate the result but it didn't exactly indicate the pressure I set in CFX - Pre
Please give me an advice!
Thank you very much in advance!
