Hi foamers,
I have a stupid question but i dont know the answer. I have an interface between a solid and a fluid, considered as a wall. What is the "type" to implement a simple wall, allowing the heat flux of temperature, in both side. "ZeroGradient" is for adiabatic wall i know. "fixedValue" doenst fit. I uses the type "calculated" but im not sure. There are solidWallTemperatureCoupled or solidWallHeatFluxTemperatureCoupled but im not understand exactly for what case these both patches are necessary. Thanks for helping me SIncerely Kyian |

Hi Bernhard
Sorry dor the tittle , i will try to be more specific next time... Im using the solver chtMultiRegion foam. I have a hot fluid in a pipeline and I want to study the impact of the heat transfer from fluid to the solid. I've read some thread about BC for heat flux but it's usually to have a fixed heat flux. It's just a simple interface between a fluid and a solid allowing heat transfert |
