I am trying to find If is possible to simulate a reactor (column type) that vibrates unidimensionally in the direction of the axis. Inside of the reactor are pellets of a catalitic material which should react with a upflow gas. My main doubt is about the vibration.
My experience with CFD is with CFX, but high cost for licenses and limitations on the user of student version made me think about OpenFoam. Since, I will have to learn OpenFoam basics, I would like to knows the opinions from the members. |
