Using patch-result as BC

Hello, I am referencing this thread, but maybe posted in the wrong category: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...condition.html
Is there a possibility to use the pressure distribution from a face (written as patch result), which will define the BC of the same face for another calculation.
I have set a body as patch, and in my result I am able to see the pressure distribution on this patch.
Now I want to use this pressure distribution as BC for using solidDisplacement solver.
But I didn't see any utility for that...
Any tip?

Hello Maxime,

I know, this thread is fairly old but it seems you're still active on this Forum.

Did you find an answer to your question? It sees I am in the same situation right now.

Greetings, Amelie

Hello Amelie,
No I didn't get any clue, but in the mean time, the thread is 6 years old, and it is possible that actual OF version could do the job.
But unfortunately we switched on another software, and I am not aware what OF can now exactly do.

Hi!

Maybe I have not understood your question correctly, but why you do not just copy it from your last time folder?
Okay, this is not a "glamorous" way, but with the same mesh it is of course possible.

Correct me, if I have misunderstood your problem.

Regards,
JW

Hello,
From one side I get the pressure distribution on a wall as result.
Then I wanted to get those results as BC for structure analysis.

Exactly, that's my intention.

I want to use the pressure distribution as external load on my solid to simulate displacement.
