Where to start programming?
Hi Foamers,
I would like to start learning C++ on linux (ubuntu) and go towards the programming of OpenFOAM. Could you recommend me a programmer application (like Kdevelop) what I could use for writing and debugging my first 'Hello world'? What is your suggestion for the 'way of learning' if I want to program OpenFOAM later? Thanks in advance, Attesz |
You're asking about what IDE to start using? I think Eclipse is the most common one that Ubuntu OpenFOAM users use. I personally don't use an IDE so I can't really comment.

Yes, exactly. Thank you for your hint, I'll start learning Eclipse.
