Dear all,

I would like to solve some equations (CFD) on a mesh and other (neutron diffusion) on a different mesh.

The two meshes share the same physical space but are differently optimized.

Is there a way to pass the variables (e.g., T, q''', ecc. ) between the two non-conforming mesh?
i.e., to calculate the weighting factors from a generic cell on the mesh A to a generic cell on the mesh B, like GGI does for patches.

Matrix-level coupling between two equations living on different meshes would be great but is not strictly required since most of the strongly coupled equation would share the same mesh .

Can you suggest any presentation/paper/web-page/tutorial?

Thank you very much!

deepsterblue will become famous soon enough
I did something very similar for volume fields. Take a look at my implementation:

You can get the methodology / citation here:

Thank you!

Good job, your work is quite wider than my needs

I was only looking for something very simple, similar to mapField to be performed at each time step.

I'll read your paper and I'll try to learn something new!

Thanks

Manuele
