Dear FOAMers,
I am trying to implement a new turbulence model which is based on the LaunderSharmaKE model. This new model requires me to introduce a new expression for nut and i have also introduced a Low-reynolds number correction to it. I could get the code compiled and running But when I run my simulation, the initial pressure residual diverges with no of iterations and is of the range 0.2~0.3. I am checking this case for turbulent 2D-flatplate flow using simpleFOAM to validate my code. Anyone with insights in this regard shed me some light into it?? What could possibly be the cause? Any help highly appreciated! Thanks, Nikesh P.S. :: I got the simulation results right and reasonable using the LaunderSharmaKE model for the same case. |
