Hi Dear all

I want to develop a solver by adding new equations to simplefoam solver, the new equations contain the following term:

K,D and C are constant.

I don't know how should I write this term (Inner product of two gradients) at newSimpleFoam.C .

any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Do you want to solve for F or for T?

If you want to solve for T, is there any physics behind this equation? Did you think about the algorithm you want to use: e.g. which terms to treat implicitly and which terms to use explicitly? It looks a bit odd to me though.

  • What is T and What is F?
  • Are they scalars, vectors, tensors, etc?
  • How have you tried to write the equation already?
  • Did what you have already written compile or not?

[QUOTE=Bernhard;447392]Do you want to solve for F or for T?

I want to add two Eqs. to simpleFoam solver.
one of them is energy Eq. and contains that so-called term and other one is particle continuity Eq.

with these two Eqs. I want to solve for both T and F.
