Hello guys,

I want to "connect" or "couple" openfoam with another simulation program for building energy system using pvm. The idea is to use the building simulation program as a master and openfoam solver as a slave to calculate the fluid properties for the master.
For a simple test I found a couple of good functioning master and slave pvm codes from the examples. Then I divided the slave code into two part and copied them into the icoFoam.C - one half in the beginning and the other half at the end. The foam solver code unchanged in the middle.
After wmake, the new solver works just fine for a normal openfoam case, without being called by the master. The problem is, when being called by the master, the solver code in the middle somehow is not working. Only the first half of the pvm slave code is working.

Any ideas?
Thanks very much for any help.
Peter
