hi,

in chapter 1.2.1 of the PhD of Rusche
(
http://powerlab.fsb.hr/ped/kturbo/Op...chePhD2002.pdf
)

is written:

Quote:
Special numerical techniques are needed to keep track of the position of the
interface between the phases. These techniques are often referred to as free surface
solution procedures. Many of these have been devised and they are classified and
explained in more detail in Section 1.5.1.
Questions:
1.The methods listed in 1.5.1 are for tracking the phase-interfaces, right?
2.When using DNS for multiphaseflows with number of phases > 2 are the interface tracking methods the same?

greetings
