Hey guys,
I have a modified incompressible solver (interThermalPhaseChangeFoam) that I wish to couple with conjugate heat transfer. The only issue is that chtmultiregion is compressible and the coupled BC is for compressible. Is this a realistic possibility to do. Thanks Sam |

Hi,
The question is that how do you plan to handle the temperature field (cht*) in the incompressible solver? In which way do you expect the heat transfer will manifest itself on the incompressible flow? Via Boussinesq approximation of density? If no clear answers you have for these aspects, I would embed my modifications into a compressible solver, instead.

Thanks for the advice. I guess it is something that I will not have time to resolve at this moment. I will move onto something else instead.
