Hi everybody,

Can somebody give me a start on some information to create a new thermodynamic model that is based on lookup-tables?
Currently I have a barotropic relation that in itself is too complex to implement inside OpenFoam but eventually is a barotropic relation.
This means that I have values of pressure corresponding to a certain density of the fluid.
So if I have a density-field I want to use the lookup-table to obtain the pressure for the entire field.
I am still figuring out what to do with other calls that can be found in a thermodynamic model like speed of sound or compressibility.
Can somebody help me with this? Does anybody have examples on how to do this? Your help is much appreciated!

Hello,

I am currently dealing with a similar issue, I am trying to read the density values from a Pressure and Tempreture lookup table.

Have you been able to solve this problem.
Any help would be appritiated

I am also facing with such problems. What I am thinking now, is to modify the psi, because rho and p are coupled with psi. Psi can be calculated through my lookup table.
But I am still struggling with how to do that...
