Hi everybody,

I am using an adapted version of scalarTransportFoam to simulated the mass transfer from an droplet to an surrounding water phase inside a pipe.
I use periodic boundary conditions for the water phase, as i have a periodic flow pattern inside the pipe. So i have two closed volumes!
A initial concentration inside the droplet is defined at the beginning of the process. The mass is transferred into the water phase.

My solver always blows up at the end of the process, where system reaches the steady solution.
Is there a possibility, that the closed volumes this happens because of the closed volumes?
It seems to works, when i change the boudary conditions.

Christian
