JWei is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I want to simulate the flow of micro-channel in slip boundary condition by openfoam. I learned a boundary condition named "slip". I want to know how it works in simulation and I read the source code is named "slipFvPatchField.C", I don't confirm the file I select is right. and I want to add my functions, what should I do?
Please guide me.
Thanks.

JWei

chriss85 will become famous soon enough
The slip boundary condition uses a fixedValue B.C. with a zero velocity in normal direction and a zeroGradient B.C. in tangential direction.

The file you mentioned should contain its souce code. You should also look at the appropriate header file.
mgg, mizzou and Haitham Osman CFD like this.
