Paraview scripting?

I didn't get much love in the Post-processing forum so I figured I'd add this here:
I'm trying to get an IDE (pyCharm in my case) to hook up with Paraview's imports so I can get stuff like code completion and API searching available. I have added the Paraview libraries to my pyCharm project, but it doesn't seem to recognize any of the code in it. Has anyone done this for another IDE or pyCharm?
