hi all,

i am trying to compile a code which i wrote for Version 7.
i did change nothing but when i execute wmake there is an error showing up:
Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/files:1: *** missing separator. Stop.

does anybody know what the problem is here?

See if you have a trailing backslash or something

It sounds stupid, but a space after a backslash can cause this problem too. This is something I had to experience painfully

thanks for your suggestions.
i use wsl with OF, so i created 'files' and 'options' with the 'touch'-command and copied my code with notepad++ which did an update recently. there is obviously a setting not correct for the wsl, but not very obvious one. i think changing EOL to unix should fix that.

i wrote the code with the 'nano'-command and the error disappeared.
